Falling Block Game
Development: Hope You've Got 3D Glasses...

No, that's not an April Fool's joke, go into your garage and dig up those old red/blue or red/green (or better, red/cyan) 3D glasses you can never find, because I've got an anaglyph of Falling Block Game! In case you couldn't tell, an anaglyph is one of those 3D images that you need the filter glasses for. The image is only 320x240 (it was running too slow at anything higher since you have to draw the entire scene twice...) and is kind of a big download (70k) because the JPEG compression ruins the illusion, but it sure is stupid! Maybe this would have been a better joke than anything else =)
Unfortunately, my sudden (and fleeting) passion for anaglyphs/stereo images means I haven't gotten much done with Falling Block Game other than an (really useless since the game takes place in one plane) eye-candy thing. Oh well, maybe next week I'll get some real work done. I've also prematurely started planning my next game, but there's nothing up yet on that. Sigh Anyways, check back soon, I'm thinking about writing a tutorial on TGA image loading and getting my TGA loading/resizing code out onto the net =)
